Legal Accreditations

Law Society accreditations help you and your practice to demonstrate expertise to potential clients, helping them to make an informed buying decision. Accreditations are awarded to practices and individuals.

Practice accreditations - Lexcel, conveyancing and wills and inheritance.

Individual accreditations - Recognise competency and expertise in specific areas of law.

The accreditations promote high standards in legal service provision and ensure that clients are easily able to identify lawyers with proven competency in given areas of law. They also ensure that scheme members maintain relevant standards of competency and expertise by means of periodic reselection, re-accreditation and re-authorisation.

Accreditation is a dynamic process and lawyers are actively engaged in shaping and directing the development of each scheme, sharing best practice and contributing to standards.

Lexcel - excellence in legal practice management and client care
